Overview:
The International Alliance Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Health Care Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. You will assess patient needs, create personalized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
· Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals related to daily living activities and occupational performance.
· Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices, to enhance patient independence.
· Educate patients and their families about strategies and techniques to manage their conditions effectively.
· Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
· Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
· Stay current with developments in occupational therapy practices and evidence-based approaches.
· Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
· Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
· Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
· Experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on rehabilitation preferred.
· Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and occupational therapy principles.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
